I am interested in creations that arise out of the
specific geographies that surround my experiences as an
artist. Over the last two decades I have lived and worked
in various places throughout the world. My work has always
emerged from the environment I've worked in and from the very
experience of the particular combination of the natural and
cultural elements surrounding the space. As the project evolves
from the research into the development process, there begins
a continuous and organic dialogue between three principle ideas:
the human being, nature, and history, each elaborated in terms of
gesture, time, and space.
